Protea Banksia

 

There are about 170 species: 19 Banksia tax species are currently declared rare, all endemic to Western Australia and is now afforded protection and declared Priority Flora. Banksia is important for its pollen and dark amber honey, nectivorous birds are attracted to its flowers
